ECO ART 36
Eco Art 36 is the name of my atelier based in the countryside near Ste-Sévère-sur-Indre. I am an artist-sculptor and maker, mainly working with (but not limited to) wire. I try to use recuperated materials and natural as often as possible.
My studio-atelier is open by appointment. My pieces can be seen locally at Tatty-Chic Boutique and in local temporary exhibitions and fayres.
IN THE STUDIO
I create wire sculptures (animals and birds) as well as decorative wall art and pieces for the home and garden. I also make jewellery and fashion accessories. I happily accept commissions to, so if you have an idea of something just drop me a line and we can discuss it.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
Throughout the year I run creative workshops where you can come a spend a few fun hours making something beautiful to take home with you. New workshop themes are being added all the time.
Prices range from 30€ to 50€ per person depending on the them. Dates are advertised, but if you can arrange your own group of 2 to 5 people you can chose a date and theme to suit you. Suitable for teenagers and older. All materials are included.
UNIQUE & CHIC
My wire art and decorative pieces are for all rooms in your home and can be made from black iron wire for a striking contrasting effect against a plain wall, or copper wire with a variety of patinas for a softer, warmer effect
GARDEN ART
Many of my pieces are very suitable to decorate your outdoor space, from bird and animal sculptures to wind-chimes and sun-catchers.
Copper is an ideal metal to use as it not only changes colour in time, it won't rust. However, if (like me) you like the rusty look, then iron wire is also a great choice.
WEARABLE ART
Nearly all of my jewellery and fashion accessories are made with recuperated copper wire as their base material. Copper is a beautiful metal with many hues, depending on how it is worked. From bright and shiny to antique finish. Although I follow similar designs sometime, nearly all my pieces are unique - that is the beauty of hand-made. From earrings, necklaces and bangles to hair barrettes and shawl pins, I have a wide range of designs to chose from.
