We are a group of English-speaking readers, writers, book professionals, artists, designers and creatives living and working in Central France.

Our vision is to build a vibrant, inclusive community where creativity flourishes and every individual feels supported in their journey with words and images. We aim to establish The Dragon's Pen as the heart of local literary and creative life, offering year-round events and resources that connect us all , and promote the success of independent authors and artists. By cultivating a passion for storytelling, literacy and creativity, we hope to empower people of all ages to discover their voices and share their stories with the world.
OUR MISSION:

• Dragon's Pen supports local authors and nurtures new voices, providing a platform for writers of all levels to thrive and succeed.
• We aim to ignite a love for reading and writing in both children and adults through engaging workshops, book fairs, and creative events.
• Championing indie authors, we foster an inclusive community that promotes literacy, creativity, and support for every individual's literary journey.
• We encourage all creative arts, including but not limited to illustration, design, creative expression and learning.
• Many workshops throughout the year aim to encourage all aspects of writing and art; encouraging, inspiring and generally having a lot of fun.
